A huge thank you to all those that attend the Pupil Action Conference last week!

We had representation from 9 of the Secondary Schools in Neath Port Talbot and we were lucky enough to have the new Children’s Commissioner for Wales to open the event. The day also consisted of workshops on emotional health and wellbeing, pupil voice and global citizenship and everyone got really involved in all the day had to offer.

The interactive voting session found 87% of you enjoyed the day and had learnt something and 89% of you felt it was important School Councils communicated with one another, so this is something we will look into for you. It was also great 65% of you felt being engaged with the school council now will make you more likely to vote in general elections when you are older!

Thanks again and good luck with your School Council progress!
