Aim: The aim of the session is give a brief over view of the duty imposed on Welsh Ministers under the Rights of Children and Young Persons (Wales) Measure 2011, and to consider the implications for the stakeholder community in this context. The session will begin by examining the legal duty imposed by the Measure before considering mechanisms for accountability. This will be followed by consideration of the implications for stakeholders beyond the Welsh Government of the legal duty and its implementation.
